Background
Prior to joining ICCS in October 2023 as a Project Assistant supporting the Nature Positive Universities and Conservation Optimism initiatives, I was working within Outreach and Student Recruitment for the University of Gloucestershire, helping to inspire young people to consider higher education as an option.
Current Research
I work in the Department of Biology as a Project Assistant supporting two interrelated wildlife conservation and sustainability initiatives. Firstly, I support the Nature Positive Universities initiative, which is a global network of around 400 universities signing up to start a Nature Positive journey, in collaboration with UNEP and the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. I also support the Conservation Optimism initiative, which is a global community dedicated to inspiring and empowering people around the world to make a positive difference for nature.
