Background
I have always loved animals and the great outdoors. After spending a year volunteering at a zoo I studied Animal Biology and Conservation at Oxford Brookes University where I completed a dissertation reviewing citizen science as a tool in ecology conservation. After university I was part of a collaborative student research team lead by the University of Bournemouth monitoring flora and fauna of the Purbeck Heath on the Dorset coast.
Following this I developed my administration skills in the private sector before working at Climate Outreach, an Oxford based Climate change communication charity, and the Premier League Charitable Fund, channelling funding and resources from the Premier League into impactful schemes aimed at improving lives and opportunities for children and young people in the UK and championing diversity and inclusion in football.
I am excited to be back in the field of conservation, supporting the important work carried out by the ICCS.
